BACKGROUND

This film was conceived along with his next film as a casting and funding lead up towards Peacock's first miniseries. It's Peacock Studio's first adaptation; loosely based on Ambrose Bierce's 1890 short story An Occurance at Owl Creek Bridge. The original actor cast as the Bartender backed out due to scheduling conflicts and Paul Stirrat (who was also in production on Hunting the Beast of West Lothian at the time) was brought in as a replacement. The film was planned to be shot and edited within January/February of 2014 but issues with the story and production starting again on Hunting led to the shooting stretching sporadically over the course of the year. Post production finished on the 31st of December.
